Answer #1:

is the same as driving a stick shift car but this is just done whit whit your left foot to shift gears & left hand for the clutch if you ever drove a stick shift car be for then just ride your new bike the same way is no difference to me that's how i learn

Answer #2:

"official way for upshift/downshift":
Throttle off.
Clutch on.
Shift.
Clutch out.
Throttle on.

Proper biker way to shift up:
Put a little pressure on the shifter with your toe.
Throttle off. As you let off, the shifter will now slide into the next gear, because of your positive pressure.
Throttle on.

Proper biker way to shift down:
Throttle off.
Clutch on.
Blip throttle to next gear's predicted RPM (so if you're at 4k in 6th, you think you'll be about 5.5k in 5th, then rev to about 5.5k. Revving past the predicted amount is fine, but try not to ping the limiter or rev WAAYY more than you need to)
Shift down.
Clutch off.
