Question: Advice on Trike motocycle?

( Back )

Answer #1:

The MP3 is a GREAT trike/scooter it can be ridden aggressively as you want it really handles well.
The low speed lock is awesome for around town no need to put your feet down

The Roketas are junk/ less then reliable we had a scooter shop open up selling those and they went out of business and left hundreds of worthless scooters with no warranty and no way to get them repaired or parts

Answer #2:

I've ridden the Spyder and hated it. Plenty of power. Very comfortable. But it does NOT feel anything like a motorcycle. The effortless riding quality of a bike was missing for me. On the other hand, if you live in Alberta and ride a snow mobile, you will feel right at home. The controls are certainly easy to operate.

I haven't ridden the MP3 but have checked them out in the showroom. Cool. All the reviewers love them and say they ride just like a motorcycle. I chose the Burgman 650 scooter instead because the motor was bigger and I had more foot room and more storage. One word of warning--the salesman said he'd sold two of them and both riders fell over in the parking lot messing with the transition from trike to bike mode. My suggestion is treat it like a BIKE for a month or so before messing with the front wheel locking lever.
