Answer #1:

I only know how to do the second one and the last one..

But, Like you I don't feel like doing them.

Answer #2:

1.2

Answer #3:

1) 32*1/4=8
10-8=2
therefor there were two pounds of hamburger left.

2) 85*6=510
1260-510=750
750/6=125
therefor they must sell 125 more t-shirts

3) i'm assuming Jason makes $1100 per month and it is not actually a percentage.
1100*0.3=330 (the money used for food)
1100-330=770
therefor he has $770 for everything else

4)2000*0.12=240
2000-240=1760
therefor she still owes 1760

Answer #4:

10 - (32 x ¼) = 10 - 8 = 2
∴ two pounds of meat were left

[1260 - (85 x 6)]/6 = (1260 - 510)/6 = 750/6 = 125
∴ they need to sell 125 more shirts

(1100/0.3) - 1100 = 2566.67
∴ he has 2566.67 dollars for everything else
(i might have misunderstood what you mean in this question I solved it as 30% of his budget is 1100)

2000 - (0.12 x 2000) = 1760
∴ the will still have to pay 1760 dollars

4) After madison makes a 12% down payment on a $2000 motocycle, how much will she still owe?

Answers
1) 2 lbs left. How did I get the answer? Each patty is made from 1/4. This means 1 lbs makes 4 burgers. So ten pounds times 4 sections = 40 pattys it could make. They made 32 of them so 40-32= 8. So there are 8 of the 1/4 pund pattys. Which makes 2 lbs total.

2) 125 more shirts to raise the $1260 profit. They have to sell a total of 210 shirts. How did I get this? Each shirt only profits you $6 (even though you are selling them for $12 likely due to making them). So take $1260 (needed) divided by $6 (total profit per shirt) = 210 shirts needed to be sold total. Then you subtract 210 (total shirts you need) - 85 (shirts you sold already) and you get 125 more shirts to sell to make the $1260 profit!

3) $777 for everything else. How did I get that? $1100 (total income) x .30% = $333 (total budgeted for groceries) Then subtract total earnings $1100 - $333 (grocery money) = $777 left for the month for everything else.

4) $1760 is what she still owes. How did I get it? $2000 (total price) x .12% = $240 (amount od down payment) Then take $2000 (total price of motorcycle) - $240 down payment = $1760 still owed.
