When you leave your bike for a while what do you do with your helmet? im gunna be riding my gixxer to college and i dont wanna have to bring my helmet to class with me but im afraid it will be gone after school if i leave it with my bike.. and another quick question. should i chain my bike to something if im gunna be away from it for a while bc i hear a lot of stories of people just putting the motocycle right in the back of a truck and driving away and im only getting liability insurence

Why do motorcycle cops wear open face helmets?

Full faced helmets are way more safe and they even tell you in safety courses that everybody should wear full faced helmets. Why don't cops on motorcycles do this? In fact, why don't they wear other protective gear like motocycle jackets, pants, etc?

Those pictures are of international cops, london specifically. I'm talking about american cops, they never wear such things, although it would be smart for them to start using them... which brings me back to my question, why the hell don't they wear full faced helmets especially when styles can flip up now?

No it doesn't. You guys obviously never ridden a bike before. Say that to a rider and they will call you noob. A modern helmet has between 210 and 220 degrees of peripheral vision. Federal standards require 210. 90% of crashes occur with objects within 60 degrees of the center line, or within 120 degrees.

someone told me, some regular guy saw this italian actress in a movie, and in the movie she rides a motocycle and when she took off her helmet he said he fell in love and now they're married

because i seriously think im in love with leonardo dicaprio, and i know i don't really know him...but im in love with my interpretation of him and this has been since i was 5 or 6 (ill be 15 in june)

and there's NOTHING i could possibly dislike about him, he's a a scorpio im a cancer (combatibility... ;] i didn't find that out until last year) and he cares about the environment (everyone at school calls me a hippie)

we both have the same favorite food, drink, and animal (all animals...yes even possums...who i still avoid cuz u know diseases, and ive had a pet snake) and im somewhat german (not a lot) but come on WHAT ARE THE ODDS :]

Hi, this is Tony, one of users for IronCad. Recently, I have a project required for us to design a motocycle helmet. We tried different approaches, such as "carving" (using boolean repetitively to achieve the right shape), but it did not work propertly first due to the complexity of the product and the nonsymmetric shape it will achieve. Therefore, we are stuck at a point where I cannot proceed any further. Do you have any suggestions or approaches to making a helmet. The attached picture is the rough design we are trying to achieve. I have been riding for a while and ride a ninja. I'm looking for a helmet with cool graphics. I have a hjc and shoei helmet, but am looking for something more modern and better looking. I dont know if I wanna go with a HJC carbon ac-12, shoei x-11, arai rx-7, or a suomy spec 1r vandal. Also, I want a helmet that is gonna last for a while, so the helmet has to have good quality and be able to withstand wear and tear.

i work for a company that makes a license plate frame with a white LED built into it to light up the plate. I want to get it DOT approved so I can sell it across the US and put on it DOT approved. There was a bunch of spermies just chillin, hanging out. They start picking on one of them because he's so slow. "yeah, you're so slow the post office won't hire you!". The dude gets pissed, so he buys himself a motocycle.
Well, after a few days, the spermies start getting all wryled up because the human was having sex. The are all gettin excited and are ready to launch. The slow spermie, relaxed, put on his boots. Then he puts on his gloves. And finally, he puts on his helmet. BLAST OFF! all the spermies take off. He's gets on his bike, turns it on.. VROOM VROOM. and takes off like hell. He goes flying by his buddis and they all cheer him on. He give them a thumbs up as he hauls @ss. "Go! Go!" they cheer.
...after a short while, those same buddies are hanging out, talking smack like always. Here comes the spermie on the bike, only his helmet is cracked, his arm i bandaged, he's limping, with a tire over his good arm. He's all messed up, and his friends asked him "what happened?"

... "the bastard was wearing a condom"
