Hi guys im Josh, I want to get a job so that I can earn enough money to purchase a 2006 suzuki r-57 motocycle but my mom says I cannot get a job because I am not a legal citizen. We originaly came from England....dads job brougt us over here, but I was trying to explain to my mom that even though im on a student visa I should be able to get a small part time job. Is this correct? and if not what do I ahve to do to be able to work? (part time)

ok so i dont have the cash to buy a compressor and im just gonna use spray paint i have already primered everything and wet sanded with 800 and 1500 grit there are a few imperfections but i dont care its on a motocycle for the most part its very smooth and the primer looks good now i am gonna paint two or three colors but i wanted to be able to get the clear coat finish please help thanks
yes i mean spray cans but what can i do about the clear coat and how do i get that clear coat finish? do i sand after i put a few coats of paint????

After loosing my boyfriend in a motocycle accident i though i would never love again. I think i was wrong!?

Im 23 years old and I just went thru the toughest stage of my life, after been with the most amaizin man for 31/2 years he got killed in a motocycle accident. I took it very hard, since he was and still is the love of my life.. 4 months after his accident i decided to go out and try to smile.. I met someone that almost automatically called my attention, he was unique and very goofy, maybe thats what i needed all this time someone to make me smile.. we met at a bar and we danced all night long, towards the end he asked me for my phone numbers and even though to everyone alse i would say no.. To him i just had to.. After that we kept seen each other and getting to know each other, he had been thru a very bad brake up and i had lost my boyfriend. so in part we were helping eachother out.. after a couple of weeks of us been hanging around, i felt like i was catching feelings and i backed away - i was scared and plus i felt wrong because in my heart i felt like i had to be faithful to my boyfriend. he was catchin feelings for me to but since i backed off, he felt like he had to as well to not get hurt..

9 months have been since i last seen him - and i cant stop thinkin about him! i feel like we left somethin that could of been special, and at the same time i feel much better now and i understand that i have to move on and be happy.. the problem is i dnt know how to get to him.. i dont want to scare him off. since he problaly thinks i will reject him again. we have friends in common but we never hang around. Lately i cant have him off my mind and i dnt knw if the power of the mind is great but last week.. he called my best friend and after a long conversation with her. he finally asked her about me.. "tell her i said hi" to alot of people thats nothin but to me is.. "he is thinkin about me, he didnt have to ask"

so, ive got four charges on my hands two felony's and two misdemeanors two felony;s are retaliation, and theft over 2500 less than 25000, and the misdemeanors are theft over 50 under 500, and theft over 500 under 1500 but here is the real part to all of this, i didn't do any of them, (i know most people say that but i really didn't. all ive got against me are statements) let me start from the beginning, me and my Buddy's were really close and all, i had a car, but it broke down, i let the car sit in front of his house with the friends consent, i had bought another car, same type just uglier and he also let me sit in front of the house, but one day i came to his house and saw a unknown motorcycle, i had asked him where he had got it, but all he told me was he bought it for 200 dollars off a guy, clearly not being a 200 dollar bike, but rather a multi thousand dollar bike. obviously, i just decided to leave, the next night i got a ride home form work seeing cops all in the front of his house, i was like okay. im getting my cars out of there. so i had moved my black car the 99 to my apartment and the red car the 97 or the ugly one to another friends apartment, and me and my buddy got in a little argumentt not over the cops being there but i just couldn't stand getting in trouble hanging out with someone like that... i mean i was okay with th occasional mayhem we cause ie: go up to the bowling alley and make a scene... but that's it, but one day i spend the night at my Buddy's apartment where the red 97 car was staying and it has a flat tire... i mean i bought the car and it has dry rot on the tires... and at that point i didn't want the car anyways... so i just gave the red car to my buddy, that lived in the apartment,( lets just call him john, and the buddy that had the cops in his house ove the bike nick,) so when i woke up that morning at that apartment, my buddy was like omg, there are cops looking in the explorer! i was like.. well i gave you the car, you deal with it... but i had really gave him that cara whiactually actaully when it went to the apartment,, like 2 weeks before this, i didn't have the title in my name nor his name, we bought the car titleless, but when i went outside to get a ride home i noticed the car on 3 wheels... i was like what happend, he told me he stolea tire off of a car the same type, and put it on his car.. i called him stupid and left. and left the red car too... so bein a nice friend i gave him my cars spare since they are both the same types of cars and he decided t drive it around no license no windshield no rear vew mirros, the list goes on... and to find out he helped the friend of mine take the motocycle too, i had stopped talking to both of them i sold my black car, and i heard the red one got towed... but 3 months later i have charges of theft over 50 under 500 for a stolen tire... retaliation, apparently when the people took my friends tire off his red car the 97 he decided to bash out their window, and last but not least, the theft over 2500 under 25000 for my friends stupid mistake of taking that motor cycle? i have proof that i worked from 5-10 on the theft over 50 under 500 and the retaliation and my girlfriend can state that i was with her everyay during that month, im still looking into when the motocycle was taken, but i know i was working and even so, i have a cumpulsive girlfriend, she knows where i am at what i am doing 24 7 so i was with her then too... i had to bond out on all 3 charges and now ive got on open warrant and no money...
the theft over 500 under 1500 is a class a misdomeanor, and the only way the i had any connection was that i was the last number in my friends phone.. that he called and the cop told him, ah so you had this planned huh? but that bad thing was is that his phone was discconnected... but yeah, my buddy stole the tires off of a car, and when they (cops) said my name, he said the car was my car... the cops called my number and asked meto come there, i was all greasy from working on my 1968 buick skylark, soi got up and walked to that location, about 2 miles away, when the case happened like 20 mins prior to being called, i took 40 to walk there, only to figure out that they were trying to take me down too, and they shined a light on me and said i was positively identified, when i was not even there! i talked to him and he said that he told the cops that he only said that it was my car because of he fact he wanted to get out of trouble... i dont know how this came up to a warrant but i need some assitance....

How do I heal after of a "failure to stop at stop sign ticket"?

I stopped at the stop sign but motocycle policeman gave me a ticket. I know he "hangs" out a certain stop waiting to ticket people. I even saw him a couple of weeks later, at the same time, stop another driver at the same block where he stopped me. I asked a neighboring church where he stations himself if he's there everyday. They told me he's there a lot of days in the week but not everyday.

Anyway I stopped but he tried to tell me I didn't. I kept my mouth shut so he wouldn't have a lot of notes. I just said I stopped...nothing else. Anyway I'm traumatized because I'm the nerdiest driver on the planet. I follow all the rules and prioritize safety because I've known some people who've died in accidents, another a quadriplegic, another a paraplegic. Anyway I'm so nerdy that if a school zone light is flashing at 2am, I still go 25mph even though the kids are sleeping.

So why am I traumatized? Because I got a ticket for obeying traffic laws. I'm going to court to fight this. Nevertheless regardless of the outcome, I"m not driving as safely as I used to. Before the incident I drove safely and obeyed laws because I don't want anyone hurt. Getting a ticket was secondary because human lives are more important but now when I drive I still think about safety but I get freaked out about getting a ticket. It's like 50/50 now. It's wrong for me to drive like that. Safety is firtst period but I can't help it. I picture that motorcylce cop every time on the road. ONe night I was driving in a seedy part of town at night (the seedy part is only 10 minutes from the good area but got lost). I was scared but also freaking out because that's a good time for a policeman to give a ticket. When you're lost and scared you may make wrong turns or such and the policeman will get you. I was so ashamed of myself for thinking about a ticket as much as my life. Another time I was in an area of town I kind of know but not perfectly at night. I was so scared to make turns because there are so many one way roads. I saw signs but scared maybe I wasn't reading them right and a policeman would get me.

How do I heal? How can I drive thinking about safety first rather than get paranoid about getting a ticket. I want to drive the way I did before that motorcycle cop gave me a ticket for something I didn't even do.

He's made me feel like such a loser. I was on that road he gave me a ticket because I took a Final Cut Pro class. The center said while I took Final Cut Pro I could use their machines as much I needed. I planned going as much as I could every day but when I got the ticket, I only went to the class. I refused to use the machines that the center said I could use for free (because after the course is over, you have to pay an hourly fee to use machines). I allowed this cop to dictate my life. He's made me such a loser. I was so scared to drive to the center to use the machines.

How many trips a year should my husband have without me?

My husband is very active. Every season there is something to do without us. Fishing is not just day fishing. It means he goes to Mexico and spends the night on the boat then comes home 2 night later. Motocycle riding in the desert, sking, wake boarding. You name it he will want to do it? He was just invited to be part of a pit crew for a racing team in Las Vegas. I told him he goes it going to start problems between us. We have an infant and a teenager. the thing is also, the nut has been damaged with the amount of pressure it has been taken, so it has kind of fused to the bolt, clinging onto it. cola will not work, nor any oils or heat.
definetly not a left hand thread, as the bolt on the other side of the bike unscrews left ways.

I bought new motocycle in may'07 and got in accident same day i got it. mainly my fault i did not know how to ride it and my friend said that its ok dont worry its easy, i got on it and rest is history. I wanna find out is it easy to fix bike yourself. I dunno much about them, but i kow there is no damage to the engine, i broke, rim, rotors,shocks, one side body kit,and the part that holds the odometer and basically the whole handle part to the front of the bike, so i was thinking why pay someone a whole lot of money to fix it if i can buy stuff and just put it together my self. I saw stuff on ebay, iknow a guy at my work who said that he has fixed his bike lots of time . I just want to know how hard is it to take the parts off and fix them since it has nothing to do with the transmission. any feedback would be appreciated. thanks.

Is it possible to produce a diesel bike in a compact model?(Yes)?

As for the issue of making a compact model, as in a small engine model of say 200 cc, yes it could be done. Why it isnt done is a very good question... Diesels can be made in 2 stroke, in modern light materials and / or with turbos or even with lpg injections systems. Any or all of these could be incorporated in a small powerful and super efficient small motocycle. Even the Enfield 325 gets 200 mpg, so adding 20% each for turbo and LPG injectors ( conservative ) it should be easily possible to get 240 mpg ( about 100km/ litre) from one modern 325cc job, (..not to mention run it on cooking oil, with minor modifications...) All of this is without accounting for weight reduction of modern materials.
Turbos and lpg injection would also each add about 20% power, and therefore performance. So it come back to the "why not" part, a suspicious mind ( ..like mine..) might say that many big oil interests dont want you to ride 1000 kms down the road on the smell of your mum's cooking. L.O.L

recently i just been dumped by my girlfriend followed by dropping out of school then a motocycle accident hence i quit my part-time job.

i'm 21 and i'm broke,no friends...no bestfriend...i think i can't cope with this failure of life as it comes in a lump sum

i feel useless and i don't know what to do...

i love my ex girlfriend and she left me just like that by saying "sorry i don't have feelings for you anymore,it's just a crush"

furthermore today is my birthday it's the worst day of my life,i can't take it anymore.

how long do i have to wait to heal?
